Money Management – Our Philosophy on Gambling
We use the unit system here at Outlaw Sports Advisors. It’s important to follow the unit system properly as this IS a science! We rate our plays, 1-5, with the occasional (and this is very rare) play that is outside of the means and is rated higher than our five unit play.
The best sports gamblers know that you should not wager any more than 5% of your bankroll on one single bet. We agree with this and strongly urge our players to heed to this strategy.
Here is an example of how this would work:
If a player has a bankroll of $10,000, 5% (the maximum amount wagered following our betting system) would be $500.
Using this logic, a 1 star play would equal $100, a 2 star play $200, and so on.
The occasional 7 star play would fall outside these means, but this is a very rare release and we don’t frequently release these plays.
It’s very important that everyone knows the correct way to place wagers and NOT feel like they have to double down when the inevitable losing streak happens. Doubling down during a cold streak is NOT proper money management, and you won’t find us chasing plays after losing.
Money management is KEY in sports betting, and we strongly urge you to use our ratings properly.
